There are several reasons I love Alex Gore Browne knitwear collection: It is elegant, eternally wearable and made from the finest, thoughtfully sourced cashmere, merino wool and cotton.
Alex began her fashion career at Central St Martins where she completed a BA in Textiles with First Class Honours, followed by an MA in Fashion. She then launched her namesake label Alex Gore Browne.
In addition, Alex sold designs to fashion houses including Donna Karan and Louis Vuitton who included her pieces in ready-to-wear collections. She also designed and made show pieces for Alexander McQueen under the direction of the late Alexander ‘Lee’ McQueen. Alex was appointed knit consultant at Nina Ricci under the direction of Peter Copping and then returned as a knit consultant again for Alexander McQueen under the direction of Sarah Burton

Alex is constantly developing her knitwear style, experimenting with new techniques to create innovative new structures and combinations of yarn. She is continually creating new designs and is inspired by, and never confined by, the boundaries of knitting.
Knitted in carefully picked, family run Italian factories, AGB knits are made to the highest quality whilst maintaining considerate working practices. In an effort to reduce excess stock, pieces are often made to order, plus the brand is making every effort to further improve their sustainability and gaining more clarity on supply chains. Materials are ethically sourced and traceable back to the farm of origin through chain of custody, with suppliers all being RWS certified
