The Cultivist-Unique Art Experiences

My favourite recent discovery is the Cultivist, a very special art club; founded by the very knowledgeable and well connected in the Art world, Daisy Peat, who used to work at Sotheby’s.

The Cultivist is a private members club that hopes to bring together artists, curators and collectors as well as influencers from Architecture, Design, Music, Film, Tech and other industries.

Each member receives a personalized card which is like a magic pass to the Art world. Our favourite “perk” is the museum card; it provides the member and three guests a ‘skip-the-line’ access to the best museums around the world, a total of 104 confirmed institutions so far — including Tate Modern, the MoMA, the Palazzo Fortuny, the Guggenheim, LACMA, and the Metropolitan Museum.

Other benefits include private tours for museums and foundations like The Louvre, The Palazzo Borghese, The Uffizi, or any other art space you’d like to visit while traveling.

They also host studio visits with some of their Artist Ambasadors (which to date include Marina Abramovic, Cindy Sherman, David Salle, Bosco Sodi, Rashid Johnson, Daniel Arsham, Glenn Kaino… to name a few) , private curator-led tours, and other curated events throughout the US and Europe exclusive to their members. Lastly, they also provide special access to nearly 40 international art fairs including the sought after Frieze.

Although the membership to the club is not cheap (£2,200) it is well worth it, if you take advantage of all the benefits and privileges.
