Dinner for Six

2020 and this pandemic has brought all sorts of new rules… The key is to adapt and make the most of it. As I have always enjoyed catching up with friends and organising dinners and gatherings at my place, Dinner for 6 is now the new social norm. Hopefully we will enjoy more intimate and meaningful conversations… Let see!
What to wear though? We still need to look fabulous even if we stay at home, ça va sans dire!

JIMMY CHOO- Bing 100 Embellished-suede Pumps
With their stylish backless silhouette, these mule-inspired pumps are embellished with shiny crystals and faux pearls. Elegant and sophisticated, they come with pointed toes and a feminine stiletto heel. I love the soft suede and charming colour! Wear them with your favourite dress or with sleek tailored trousers.

BALMAIN – Button-embellished High-rise Wide-leg Trousers
Balmain’s impeccable style is second to none. These high-rise trousers are decorated with the signature gold lion-head buttons and they are beautifully tailored from smooth crepe. They have a flattering waist panel to enhance your figure and comfortable loose legs. Tuck in a printed shirt or pair with a short jacket to highlight your silhouette and don’t forget to wear heels!

BY WALID – Ilana Upcycled Floral-jacquard Cotton Jacket
I really love the philosophy behind this brand. They source vintage fabrics around the world, which are then expertly upcycled into precious garments with a classic, timeless style. This precious jacket is handmade from reclaimed cotton canvas patterned with multicoloured jacquard flowers and shaped for a relaxed fit. Match it with an all-black jumpsuit for a modern twist.

ROCHAS – Pintucked Gathered Midi Skirt
Made from faille with gathered tiers that curve towards the pintucked hem, this amazing burgundy midi skirt is definitely a must-have. Feminine with an unconventional boho touch, this full skirt works well with a simple shirt or top and a colourful clutch.

OLYMPIA LE-TAN – Basquiat Olympia-embroidered Canvas Clutch
With Virtual Frieze coming up, we need a touch of art in our wardrobe and this black canvas clutch pays homage to Neo-Expressionist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Skilfully handmade by expert artisans with felt embellishment and gold-tone metal sides, this clutch will add a creative touch to your outfit.

ERDEM – Melville Puffed-sleeve Fil-coupé Blouse
With an explosion of pink and blue fil-coupé accents and shaped with joyful puffed sleeves and ruffled cuffs, this blouse is decorated with a striking neat pattern. Style it with the matching skirt for a total look, or pair it with immaculate black trousers for a modern, glamorous style.

GALVAN – Eclipse Sweetheart-neckline Velvet Jumpsuit
Steal the spotlight with this sumptuous velvet jumpsuit. Shaped with a cutout sweetheart neckline and a bodice with a topstitched satin insert on the back, this elegant piece then falls to fluid wide-cut legs. Wear with a tailored jacket and colourful accessories for a rockstar result.

JOHANNA ORTIZ – Wild Blue Botanical-print Silk-charmeuse Dress
This gorgeous blue dress comes with voluminous gigot sleeves that imbue it with a retro feel. Crafted from smooth silk charmeuse and patterned with illustrative botanicals, this romantic piece is perfect for your chic home dinner. Style it with high heels and a lively clutch to embrace the femininity of the ensemble.

CVC STONES – Odyssey Diamond & 18kt Gold Necklace
CVC Stones’ founder Charles de Viel Castel gathers pebbles from beaches around the world and transforms them into wearable art pieces. Isn’t it amazing? This unique necklace comes with an adjustable 18kt gold link chain and it is adorned with stunning white diamonds. Wear it with a crisp white shirt for maximum impact.
