The Almost Essential Community: Emily Preece

Emily and her business partner Christopher are the dream team of chefs. Since they started their business in the early nineteen nineties, they have gained a reputation as one of the “best rent-a-chefs in London” according to Tatler magazine. Emily places great emphasis on seeking inspiration from her travels and only purchasing the best seasonal ingredients from a handful of selected and established suppliers. The lockdown may have disrupted the private catering side of her business, but Emily and Christopher have been quick to adapt their operations to provide 3-course home delivery meals, direct to the door of their loyal clients. Here we get to know about our friend, Emily…

For the last 26 weeks, we have been preparing and delivering 3 course dine at home meals, directly to households in central London. Its certainly been different and we have loved cooking for everyone. Its been hard work packing up all those weekly boxes but we have learnt so much. We’re now taking a small break before launching a new exciting menu with our new inspiration.

Emily’s new Dine at home menu launches on the week of September 7th, if you would like to find out more or try her dine at home meals then visit her’s and Christopher’s profile on Almost Essential here.
