Vintage Fashion That’s Sustainable

Launched in October 2013, RE SEE is the collaboration of fashion industry veterans Sofia Bernardin and Sabrina Marshall, respectively from Vogue and Self Service Magazines. Known for their highly curated edit of the best pieces from ‘70s Saint Laurent, ‘90s Alaïa, Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière and Céline by Phoebe Philo. The duo is now proud to announce the launch of their first fashion line, RE SEE Atelier. Made entirely in France by local artisans, the capsule collection will feature 11 vintage-inspired pieces produced sustainably using left-over fabrics from luxury fashion houses. The collection will debut in June exclusively on RE SEE.

“When we launched RE SEE in 2013, we wanted to address over consumption and waste in the fashion industry by encouraging the recycling of great pieces”, said founders Sofia Bernardin and Sabrina Marshall. “RE SEE Atelier is a natural extension of that, offering our clients beautiful, timeless and limited-edition pieces of exquisite quality that are produced locally and sustainably with salvaged fabrics”, said the co-founders.

Inspired by 1970s bohemian glamour, the capsule will feature delicate off-the-shoulder peasant dresses, ensembles and ruffled gypsy skirts in a series of limited-edition prints, named after muses and inspirations of M. Saint Laurent. In addition, RE SEE Atelier will also offer bespoke services, allowing clients to order pieces in custom upcycled fabrics or with unique trimmings.

RE SEE Atelier will launch June 12, 2019 and will be exclusively for sale online.
Prices will range from 480€ for gypsy skirts to 1,200€ for a bespoke piece.
