The Interior Design Trends Coming To You Soon

The very latest in high-end interior design was showcased at the Decorex show (Olympia) over the last few days. With over 400 exhibitors in attendance, the show was a melting pot of inspiration for individuals and professionals working on interior design projects.

Janine, one of Almost Essential’s recommended interior designers, was in attendance at the show and has helpfully highlighted some of the key trends to look out for, highlighting them using picture from her company’s own work.

1. Warm Metal Accents

Copper, brass and rose gold will continue to be a defining trait of contemporary interiors. Janine’s firm have incorporated metal accents in many of our designs including the contemporary bathroom designs (below).

2. Inspired By Nature

Accents and tones inspired by nature can add drama, but also bring a calming effect to an interior. Some of the trending colours we’re seeing include aquamarine and ebony.

3. Greyscale

The trend for paired back, monochromatic interior sets looks set to continue as interior designers combine greyscale spaces with geometric patterns and detailing that beguile our eyes.
